Hello!

I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m Amy, creator of Ink and Alder! I am a 31 year old, hopeless romantic based in Macclesfield, Cheshire.  I LOVE, love.. give me all the cute stories, romantic gestures, cheesy romcoms, consider me in. I got lucky and married my childhood sweetheart, biggest fan and personal comedian just over 6 years ago. Our wedding was the beginning of the idea behind Ink & Alder and my husband was definitely the one who pushed my to pursue my new dream.

3 days wed we left for a very looong honeymoon (20 months to be exact, with a 4 month break in the UK) and began teaching abroad. On our travels I realised this thought/dream of my very own wedding business wasn’t going away! After returning to the UK, I picked up my chalk pens again, asked lots of advice from my smart business savvy friends and took a heck of a lot of time deciding on a name. Ink and Alder became a reality in June 2019 and I have loved every second of it.
